Eighth grade students from Mountain Middle School will present a public exhibition of aerospace engineering from 8:40 to 9:50 a.m. and 10 to 11:10 a.m. Feb. 13 at the school, 108 W. 31st St.

Students were challenged to apply their knowledge of energy, forces and motion to design and build a model rocket capable of safely transporting a raw egg payload. The student group whose rocket reaches the greatest height while still keeping the egg intact will be crowned grand champions.
