The community is invited to join Mountain Middle School students for Geology Night, a collaborative science exhibition, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Mountain Middle School.
Sixth and seventh graders will present their knowledge of rock formations, the dynamic geologic time scale, index fossils and the rich geologic history of the Animas River watershed. Learn about endogenic and exogenic processes and the ancient formations that resulted from such processes.
This exhibition is free and open to the public. Parking at Mountain Middle School is limited, however, additional space may be found at north City Market.
