A mudslide on Red Mountain Pass is causing traffic delays Tuesday.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is warning travelers of delays Tuesday on Red Mountain Pass, north of Silverton. A mudslide occurred in the area between Forest Service Road 886 and Amphitheatre Road on U.S. Highway 550.
Mudslide debris clean-up work will continue for most of Tuesday.
Travelers should expect delays and be prepared for alternating traffic patterns.
