Applications are available through Nov.15 for the 2019 Music in the Mountains Private Lesson Scholarships for students in K-12.
The scholarships, sponsored by Bank of Colorado, provide financial assistance for students in Durango and the surrounding areas by paying up to half of the total cost of private music lessons.
Students must show interest toward a particular instrument and a desire to increase their musical knowledge. Financial need is important, but it is not the only factor.
