Bank of Colorado, 1199 Main Ave., will host a reception from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 6 for the recipients of the 2017 Music in the Mountains Shining Star Scholarships.
These scholarships, sponsored by Bank of Colorado, are designed to help defray the cost of private music lessons or summer camps for students who wish to further develop their musical skills. Financial need is important for awarding these scholarships, but it is not the only criterion.
