The San Juan National Forest is coordinating multiple volunteer events for National Public Lands Day on Saturday.
Partner organizations will host events across the forest to remove trash left behind at trailheads, along streams and on high-use trails. Other National Public Lands Day volunteer efforts include trail work on the new Cutthroat Trail, on the Columbine Ranger District and restoration work on alpine fens.
