Durango Nature Studies will hold a workshop called “The Life of an Elk” from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Durango Nature Center, 63 County Road 310.
Naturalist Mike Bienkowski will lead the workshop and teach participants about elk and what it means to “walk a mile in their hooves.”
Cost is $10 for nonmembers; the event is free for members and participants younger than 12.
