Shonto Begay, a Navajo Diné artist, author, illustrator and actor, reads a book Friday to Needham Elementary School first-graders as part of Native American Heritage Month. The Spirit Runners 5K and 1-mile fun run will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday behind Durango High School at Rank Park.
