Winter has set in at Navajo State Park near Arboles and the boat ramp and inspection and decontamination station are closed for the season.
The ramp usually opens in March, depending on the weather, according to a Colorado Parks and Wildlife news release.
Boaters can go on the water, but they must call (970) 883-2208 in advance to schedule an inspection.
Full hook-up camp sites remain open and three cabins are available for rent throughout the year at Navajo State Park. To reserve a campsite or cabin go to the reservation section of the CPW website: http://coloradostateparks.reserveamerica.com.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife manages 42 parks that offer more than 4,000 campsites and 57 cabins and yurts. For more information or to purchase an annual pass go to www.parks.state.co.us.
