Navajo State Park restores drinking water

Navajo State Park announced that repairs to its water system are complete and water is available throughout the park, including all campsites.

After the pump and casing of the main well failed in January, the system was shut down until the components were replaced. A second well is currently being repaired.

The park is also in the process of installing a new water system, which includes new supply lines and a new treatment facility. The $3.2 million project should be completed by late June. The new system will allow the park to decommission the 40-year-old water tower.
