A free kids fishing derby, with a $7 daily parking fee, will be offered from 8 a.m. to noon July 2 at Navajo State Park, 1526 County Road 982.
Registration will be held at the amphitheater, and participants will be entered into a drawing for prizes.
Children 15 and younger can participate with an adult chaperon and should bring their own fishing pole. Tackle, bait and a hot-dog lunch will be provided.
