The public is invited to learn about boating safety, paddleboarding and sailing at Navajo State Park from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Windsurf Beach.
Park staff will explain boating regulations and safety rules and demonstrate proper use of personal flotation devices. The park will also have paddleboards available. A local company will have small Sunfish sailboats available for people who would like to learn about sailing.
There will be activities for kids, who will be given a T-shirt and instructions about how to stencil a boating safety message on the shirt.
A parks pass is required. Entry to the park is $8 per vehicle.
