Need shirts or gear.... Once in a Blue Moon?

Local couple can create one T-shirt or thousands

Once in a Blue Moon, owned by Shirlene and Bruce Hendrix, now provides custom embroidery and direct-to-garment printing for Wolverine and Bobcat fans.

Shirlene Hendrix said their company is unique because of the printing, which as far as she knows, is the only service of its kind in Southwest Colorado. Instead of screening an image onto a T-shirt, for example, the process actually places the ink on the garment. She recently completed an order of Billy Goat Saloon shirts, and owner Ashleigh Tarkington said they look great.

Henderix said the process works best on 100-percent cotton shirts, preferably of higher quality. She can order shirts for customers, or they can provide their own.

She can create one shirt or a few pieces or complete larger orders for her clients.

A big hit with sports fans has been stadium seats for Wolverine fans, and she can create Bobcat designs, as well. They retail for $45.

The couple can embroider jackets, hoodies, leather, and many other products.

Bruce Hendrix creates custom leatherwork for their clients, and she sells pillows with Southwestern designs for $25 and up.

Hendrix said the company is available to work with local teams and companies. She can be reached at 946-1162.
