SHAUN STANLEY/Herald<br><br>Students, faculty, staff and parents of Needham Elementary school gather outside the school to say the pledge of allegiance on Friday September 9th as part of a weekly tradition started by the school following the September 11th attacks.
The second public meeting about the Needham Connect II project will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Needham Elementary School, 2425 West Third Ave.
The meeting will review reconsidered design scenarios and determine cross-section on Columbine Drive, from Cottonwood Drive to Clovis Drive. The project is funded through the Needham Connect II Safe Routes to School and Transportation Alternatives Program to improve sidewalks, calm traffic and install bicycle facilities on the section of Columbine Drive.
