Psychotherapy practice opens in Durango

Deep Creative Living: Psychotherapy and Counseling announces its opening at 755 East Second Ave.

The practice is owned by Debra V. Quayle, who has more than 20 years of experience with clients. Quayle just moved to Durango from Tara Mandala, a Buddhist retreat center in Pagosa Springs, where she lived and worked for three years.

In addition to working with individuals, couples and families, Quayle plans to offer groups and classes on “The Art of Dream Tending,” “Making a Good Thing Better: A Couples ‘Tune Up’” and “Feeding Your Demons: Ancient Wisdom for Modern Times.” The psychotherapy and counseling practice has weekend and evening appointments available. Quayle’s specialties include working with: Dreams, depression and anxiety, trauma, addictions, at-risk youth, relationship problems, end-of-life and spiritual issues. Quayle is a licensed psychotherapist, college teacher and Buddhist meditation teacher.

Home inventory service business opens

Archiva: Digital is a new Durango business which documents the contents of people’s homes.

Founded in Durango by Petra Hinke, Archiva’s digital documentation services create detailed home inventories for both insurance and estate planning needs, as well as digitization of important documents for ready access in the event of an unforeseen loss such as fire, robbery, flood or death in the family.

Archiva also offers digital cataloguing of art and other collections, and creating photo books to preserve and share memories with family and friends. Petra moved to Durango with her husband in 2011, after having spent more than 20 years in international marketing with Audi, Volkswagen and Sony Pictures Television.
