Wordplay Coffee has opened a new coffee cart that operates from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays at Durango Farmers Market and serves coffee, teas, matcha and chai.

Megan Milstead, owner and operator of Wordplay, created the business for a creative outlet and takes advantage of the farmers market by using other vendors’ ingredients to create new specialty drinks each week.

With creativity and community as the center of Wordplay Coffee, Milstead is looking to expand into a full-time business that would support the LGBTQ+ people in Durango.
