New COVID-19 testing site opens in Durango

Cedar Diagnostics has partnered with COVID Drive Up Community Testing for collection of COVID-19 tests.

COVID Drive Up Community Testing is the exclusive nasal PCR swab collection partner for Cedar Diagnostics. Testing will take place by appointment only, but some walk in times are available at the Durango Public Library’s overflow parking lot. The site also offers antibody testing.

Testing of collections will take place at Cedar Diagnostic’s lab and results will be available in 36 to 48 hours.

Leslie Choszczyk, right, a phlebotomist, and Alexandra Schlauger, a phlebotomist, work Tuesday at the new COVID Drive-Up Community Testing site near the Durango Public Library on East Third Avenue.

At this time, most insurances are accepted. People without insurance will be referred to testing through San Juan Basin Public Health.

To schedule an appointment, visit www.cocoviddriveup.com and choose the Durango option.
