Mountain Capital Partners recently appointed Elizabeth Howe as its new director of operations for Purgatory Resort, Arizona Snowbowl, Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort, Pajarito Mountain and Hesperus Ski Area.
Howe has 24 years of resort operations experience, in roles such as vice president of resort operations at Telluride Ski Resort and senior director of mountain operations at Vail Resorts. She has a background in mountain operations, specifically lift operations and maintenance, and hotel resorts. She has also served as a member of the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board, and was invited to present a Ted Talk at TedX Vail, which focused on women in ski area operations.
Howe has a son who will attend middle school in Durango.
