The La Plata County Economic Development Alliance is proud to announce Michael French as the new executive director.
French was identified as the top candidate after an extensive national search. French has previously served in executive management roles in multiple organizations since selling his own company.
French founded Network Architechs Corp. and managed the company from a private ownership to a public organization. He is a graduate of Colorado State University and has worked with multiple nonprofits in the southwestern U.S. and in Mexico and is the current board chair of the Community Foundation serving Southwest Colorado.
In his new role, French will lead business recruitment and retention efforts, expand startup initiatives and foster additional strategies that reflect the community’s strengths for long-term economic prosperity.
