New Face Productions, which will be presenting the Tim Robbins production “The New Colossus” on Feb. 25-26, will also present “Honoring Our Roots,” which will share La Plata County residents’ family accounts in conjunction with the play.
All local families came here as refugees, immigrants or were brought here against their will, save for Native Americans. Stories about these experiences are being sought by New Face Productions and may be used on its website, Facebook page or media leading up to the performances.
Submitted stories should be no longer than 500 words and may be edited for length and clarity. NFP reserves the right to quote from the chosen stories to support and promote “The New Colossus.”
