San Juan Basin Health would like to welcome three new employees.
Nurse Navigators at SJBH has hired Karen Evans as their new care coordinator in Pagosa Springs.
Evans is a longtime resident of Archuleta County and has experience in human service programs as well as customer service. She will assist clients with SJBH services or link them to other community health services.
Elizabeth Strong is a new community organizer and evaluator for SJBH.
She has experience with non-profit administration, building community partnerships, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of community-based programs. Strong will help with tobacco, alcohol and substance-abuse prevention policies for youth in La Plata and Archuleta counties.
Kacy Ulam is a new executive administrative assistant for SJBH.
Ulam graduated from Fort Lewis College with a degree in Spanish Language. She will be supporting the Administrative Services team and serving as clerk to the Board of Health.
