We live in Durango, in the far southwest corner of Colorado. Politically and economically, we have essentially been given to New Mexico. I feel perfectly competent to vote in New Mexico. That’s all the political advertising and in-depth news we receive. In the last election, there were only two people I’d ever heard of on the Colorado ballot. And that was only because I knew them.
This is a very important election. I’m afraid I would like to know who I’m voting for. It’s obvious that our votes don’t matter to Colorado statewide officeholders or U.S. senators and representatives – they don’t seek our vote and couldn’t care less. Very concerned and feeling marginalized ...
