With hot chocolate and s'mores to ward off a blustery day, Pine River Library officially opened its new park on Saturday, Nov. 11. The grand opening also included a commemoration of local servicemen and servicewomen for Veterans Day. The park's new courts for basketball and pickleball are popular with local outdoor enthusiasts.
The Town of Bayfield and the library partnered to receive a Great Outdoors Colorado grant to pay for most of the park cost.
