Owners or lessees of the Porsche 911 series car are being asked for input and participation in a new car club. Leigh Nelson, who started a Corvette Club, is looking for participants in her newest club for the Porsche 911.
Unlike the Corvette Club, there is not a dealership where the club would be meeting. The Porsche 911 Club will likely meet at different restaurants, and the first meeting may be held at Nelson’s home. Initially, the meetings will be frequent to establish appointed chairs and officers through an election process. Once the proceeding are complete, the club will move to a monthly basis. One position of note is webmaster: This spot will be held by someone who can establish and maintain a public website for the club after a name has been chosen.
The only limitation to club membership other than the possession of a Porsche 911 is age. Club member must be adults 21 years and older. The club’s expanse will include the full Four Corners area.
