A new website for the Pine River Times is in operation, featuring more local news and photographs for readers of the 29-year-old newspaper.
"The new website does a fantastic job of bringing the Times into the 21st century," said Melanie Mazur, managing editor of the Times. "We'll be able to bring more news faster to our readers."
The website was designed by editorial and web staff at Ballantine Communications, the new owners of the Times.
It features news, photographs, sports, opinion, ads and the worship directory. There also is an electronic version of the print publication that is open to all viewers for a short while, then will be available by paid subscription.
