Public can comment on intersection plans

The Town of Bayfield and the Bayfield School District invite the public to review the plans for the roundabout and associated transportation improvements for the East Oak, Lakeside and Mountain View drive intersection. The anticipated start of construction is planned for summer of 2018. The engineer contracted for the project has prepared engineered drawings for the project.

The intersection will be closed and a temporary road constructed to maintain access for the properties on Lakeside and Westview Drives.

Town and school staff and the design engineer will meet from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 at the Pine River Senior Center to review plans and answer questions.

A copy of the plans can be found on the Town's website under Hot Topics. If you are unable to attend the meeting and would like to discuss the project, please contact Town Manager, Chris La May at 884-9544 or e-mail at clamay@bayfieldgov.org.
