Are you ready to kick sugar? Local dietitian and health coach Fran Sutherlin will explain how sugar affects the body, the three key steps to breaking up with sugar, and the importance of creating a supportive detoxifying environment that will improve your energy, help you sleep better, and reduce pain and inflammation in your body.
The talk is from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9.
"For the last 10 years, clients have come to me who are tired of counting calories and are just overwhelmed with what to do next as their results start to fade," said Sutherlin. "It's not just about calories, fat content, or even protein. It's about fueling your body with whole foods that can detoxify your body naturally, and to do this, you must start by breaking up with sugar. It flat-out works, and it's not as miserable as you might think." The workshop will include recipes for healthy snacks that can naturally curb sweet cravings.
