Santa Claus will visit the Patio from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday to have breakfast with local diners. Pictures will be available with the big guy, with donations benefiting local 4H members. For more information, call 563-9574.
Once again the Bayfield Lions Club has received word from the North Pole that Santa will be in Bayfield from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24.
Forms for Santa visits are due Dec. 21 at Bayfield schools, or can be arranged by calling 946-0318 or 946-0318.
The Lions can use two more Santa's helpers and drivers, as well. Volunteers interested in helping can call the above numbers or email phyllisjay_rhodes1@q.com.
Pine River Shares will hold its annual Winter Solstice dinner from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pine River Senior Center. All are welcome, and desserts and side dishes are appreciated, but not required.
Volunteers will host the famous "Grown Up Gift Shop" for kids to select and wrap gifts for parents and/or special adults in their lives.
