Instead of having a silent auction at the annual Breakfast with Santa, Bayfield Early Education Program is offering "Santa Bundles."
In lieu of a bid sheet, people are encouraged to spend $5 and or more on tickets and put their ticket in different Santa Bundle buckets.
People can purchase as many tickets as they like for the different bundles. This will start at the Breakfast with Santa on Saturday (items received so far will be on display) and continue at the preschool until Friday, Dec. 14, where tickets will be drawn at 11:30 a.m. and winners notified.
Hours to come look at the Santa Bundles are from 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 2 to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, with additional hours on Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Items in the drawing include a quilt from Debbie Janus.

There's nothing like the comfort of a hot cup of tea in the dead of winter.
From 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, participants can explore new teas and herbs to blend a perfect cuppa. Tea is one of the simplest healing rituals found across cultures: herbs used in various tea blends and tea itself all contain various healing properties.
We will discover taste profiles and learn tips and tricks for matching flavors. Classic tea blend recipes and a special batch of tea to take home are included. Pre-registration required. There is a $10 materials fee for the class.
For more information on the program or to register, call the library at (970) 884-2222, ext. 510.
Bells and tickets for Adopt a Bell for Bayfield Early Education Programs fundraiser are available and in circulation.
The cost is $5 for a bell, and all bells are entered to win a Visa cash gift card.
BEEP thanks the following sponsors for their generous donations: CRG Construction, $650; Energy Inspection Services, $500; Horizon Environmental Services, $500; Alpine Bank, $400; HDS Freight Services, $250; and Bayfield Realty, $100.
The drawing for 10 Visa cash gift cards will be held Dec. 19 at BEEP's holiday program. Card values range from $100 to $500. Winners do not need to be present to win.
