Homesfund of Southwest Colorado is hosting a Homebuyer Education Class from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Sitter Hall, Room 710, at Fort Lewis College.
The class is meant to make the home-buying process clear and less stressful. Some of the topics include: understanding the programs offered by HomesFund; understanding your credit score report and ways to improve it; learn tips on saving for a down payment; learn the pros and cons of buying a house; understanding your monthly mortgage payment and closing costs; and understanding purchase contracts.
Cost for the class is $15 to be paid at the door.
