I am appalled that the city came in and took our parking away on the 600 block!
Aren’t they losing parking meter revenue ... I know they are losing sales tax as we felt the immediate impact on our business.
Spending $400,000 on “peddlets“ is such a crime when there are so many in our community in need. There will be four years of construction downtown if this passes and millions of dollars. There will be a lot of businesses going out that can’t sustain this.
Who is running the city?
After 44 years in business downtown, we have also established a community between business people that will be severely disrupted.
Please leave downtown alone. It is wonderful just the way it is.
