Local photographer Lanny Wagner is giving a presentation on night photography at the Mancos Public Library on March 14.

Wagner, a retired Bureau of Land Management employee, formerly served as the artist-in-residence at Canyons of the Ancients National Monument. At the library presentation, he will talk about night photography sessions he conducted at the monument and share photos of ancestral Puebloan sites shot under the stars. He will also explain the process, tools, and equipment necessary for a night photo shoot.

Some of Wagner’s photos on metal are currently on display at the library’s Art Wall through the end of the month.

The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. at the library, 211 W. First St.
