The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin two nights’ work Wednesday on U.S. Highway 550 (Camino del Rio), near Town Plaza in Durango.
The work, which involves locating utilities and sampling soil, will affect traffic 6 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday and 6 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday.
Motorists will encounter lane shifts and lane closures at 1111 Camino del Rio. Drivers are urged to slow down and follow signs and flagging personnel through the work zone.
Although no daytime work is expected, motorists will experience changes in road surface.
