No. 7 Durango boys soccer set to open CHSAA playoffs against No. 26 Pueblo South

The seventh-seeded Durango High School boys soccer team is set to open the 2016 Colorado High School Activities Association Class 4A Boys Soccer Championships with a home game Wednesday.

Elijah Fenton has been an offensive force all season for the No. 7 Durango Demons with 10 goals and 13 assists for a team-leading 33 points. The junior midfielder will look to help send his team past No. 26 Pueblo South and into the second round of the state playoffs.

The seventh-seeded Durango High School boys soccer team is set to open the 2016 Colorado High School Activities Association Class 4A Boys Soccer Championships with a home game Wednesday.

The Demons will welcome No. 26 Pueblo South to their new turf field for a matchup under the lights with a trip to next week’s second round on the line. The winner will face the victor of No. 10 Skyview (12-3) and No. 23 Centaurus (9-5-1).
