No clemency for Tina Peters

An open letter to Gov. Polis:

Do not pardon or give clemency to Tina Peters. She abused the trust of her community, broke her oath, compromised election integrity and has demonstrated no remorse for her illegal actions. She still speaks about the “Big Lie” from Trump that the election was stolen from him. She still behaves as a lying, cheating victim and will not join us in the real world of truth and facts.

There must be strong consequences both for her and as a deterrent for all the others planning to cheat for GOP-MAGA adherents. So while we can hear her cries and see her suffering, she is still causing all this herself. As the GOP-MAGA tries to lobby to get her out, this is actually more evidence that she should stay in. Not one of them is telling the truth about her crimes or the election. They’re all lying and acting outraged over their own lies.

Governor, please hold the line and do not cave for her or MAGA.
