Fort Lewis College true freshman Martin Lopez has wasted no time getting acclimated to NCAA Division II men’s soccer after coming to Durango with twin brother Andres. Both players have two goals this season, but they’ll face their biggest test to date against No. 8 and bitter rival Colorado Mines at 3 p.m. Friday at Dirks Field on the FLC campus.
Few players know how to energize the crowd better than Fort Lewis College junior Tamino Kroeger, who has four goals this season. And no opponent excites the rowdy fans at Dirks Field quite like Colorado Mines, who will enter the game Friday ranked No. 8 in Division II.
