With his unwavering support of the clumsy, ill-considered and damaging tax bill, Cory Gardner rewrites the wonderful phrase his party’s most famous president made part of American history.
For Sen. Gardner – and all the Republicans – it’s not government “of the people, by the people, for the people.” For Gardner and his party, it’s government of the donors, by the donors, for the donors.
He should just move to Koch, Kansas, or Anadarko, Texas – home sites of two of his biggest contributors, neither of which are in the state he supposedly represents.
Oh, I almost forgot. He should take Rep. Scott Tipton along when he goes.
