Community Connections and Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad will kick off the 14th annual Festival of Trees from 1 to 6 p.m. during Noel Night, Dec. 1, at the railroad depot events center, 479 Main Ave.
The free event will offer food, games, music, giveaways and a chance to win decorations displayed on the trees.
Attendees can buy tickets to win trees.
Proceeds go to Community Connections, a local nonprofit that gives opportunities and support to community members who have developmental and intellectual disabilities.
