Katy Pepinsky, La Plata Youth Services director, recently graduated from a nine-month nonprofit leadership and management program offered by the Community Resource Center.

During the program, participants cultivated professional relationships twice a month at development sessions in Denver and underwent a three-day retreat in Breckenridge. Pepinsky was one of 12 selected by Anschutz Family Foundation to receive a scholarship for the program.

Pepinsky served as director of Growing Partners, a coalition that supports food justice, for 10 years before she joined La Plata Youth Services.
