Registration opens at 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 for “Langlauf,” the cross-country ski race event, at Durango Nordic Center, 1 Skier Place.
Langlauf, German for cross-country skiing, will feature a series of races varying in length, followed by live music, refreshments from Ska Brewing Co. and Carver Brewing Co., and raffle to win gear from Pine Needle Mountaineering.
The following races will be featured:
9 a.m., Langlauf, 30 kilometers9:30 a.m., Halftelauf, 15 kilometers9:45 a.m., Mittellauf 7.5 kilometers10 a.m., Kurzlauf, 4 kilometers10 a.m., Weniglauf, 2 kilometers11 a.m., kid’s events and post-race partyCost is $30 for adults and $15 for youth.
