Durango Nordic Ski Club is hosting the Fort Lewis College Rocky Mountain Nordic Junior National Qualifier Feb. 16-17 at the Durango Nordic
Center.
The weekend of racing features an interval skate race on Saturday and a mass start classic race on Sunday. Racing will begin at 9 a.m. both days, and the Junior National team will be named once racing is complete on Sunday.
Durango Nordic invites the community to come watch the region’s top junior cross-country skiers race to qualify for Junior Nationals, held in March in Anchorage, Alaska.
