In a letter to the editor (Herald, July 1) Anne Eakin commented on the Durango Pride festival and asked, “But would town allow a Bible festival?”
My question is: Did she ask?
I happen to enjoy being a part of most Festivals by many different groups. But some I am not really interested in, such as Snowdown, so you know what I do? I don’t participate.
My suggestion to Eakin is that if she does not want to attend such functions as the Pride Festival – don’t. We do live in a free country. It is your choice.
