I am new to Durango. Recent news, of course, makes me wonder why I moved to such a sketchy town.
I am surprised that the article about a recent gang-rape (Herald, Oct. 20)starts “Three men” and that those persons are repeatedly referred to as men. These children may be above the age of 18. But they are certainly not “men.”
Maybe better to refer to them as “troubled young boys” or “monsters.”
Where are these kids’ parents? They are probably somewhere cooking crystal meth or robbing the Subway over by Bread.
