Storywalk: Starts on the southeast side of the grassy park next to the library. The story will be changed twice a month.
STEAM Kits: Pick up a free science, art or craft kit. Videos will teach about the science and show children how to complete the kits. New kits and videos are available at the first of each month.
“Program in a Bag” kits: Pick up a free “program in a bag” kit. Kits contain everything needed to get started on a new hobby, craft or recipe. November kits: Make Your Own Masala Chai Mix and Make Your Own Natural Deodorant.
Nov. 4, 2 p.m.: Bookmarks Book Club. Open to all adults in the Pine River Valley. The library provides the books, the discussion leader and a safe, socially distanced place to meet each month. November title, “March,” by John Lewis.
Nov. 6, 10 a.m.: Rambling Readers. A small group of “Rambling Readers.” Meet at the gate to Saul’s Creek just off U.S. Highway 160 in Bayfield on the first Friday of every month, take a gentle walk and spend an hour discussing favorite pandemic reads or other interests.
