Emperor. HHH Naval bigwigs determine the fate of Japanese Emperor Hirohito after the Japanese surrender ending World War II. Rated PG-13.
Spring Breakers. HHH½ A bunch of girls on spring break and land in jail. Their only way out is to rely on a drug dealer for bail who also wants them work off the debt in some not-so-aboveboard ways. Rated R.

On the Road. HH (Wednesday only) Kerouacs story of the strange odyssey of Sal, Dean and Marylou comes to the big screen. Rated R.
Scary Movie V. (No Roeper rating) Making fun of bad movies is a cant-miss formula, as evidenced by the fact that there are now five of these things. Rated R.
Evil Dead. H The tag line says it all: The most terrifying film you will ever experience. Rated R.
Jurassic Park. (In digital 3-D with surcharge.) Spielbergs 1993 neo-classic about a prehistoric zoo gone berserk is probably one of the better recent choices for a 3-D re-release. Rated PG-13.
G.I. Joe: Retaliation. H½ (In standard format and digital 3-D with surcharge.) Wow. This ones got Bruce Willis and The Rock in it. Guess everyone else in Hollywood took the winter off? Rated PG-13.
The Host. HH½ In a twist on the Body Snatcher theme, an alien takes over a human hosts body, but she becomes nice instead of enslaving the human race. Rated PG-13.
Tyler Perrys Temptation. (No Roeper rating.) Doesnt seem to be a comedy, but its hard to tell with these things. In this one, a married marriage counselor has an affair that leads to issues in her own marriage. Rated PG-13.
Olympus Has Fallen. (No Ebert/Roeper rating.) A terrorist takes the White House, kidnaps the president and its up to one man to save the country, the world, etc. What a man. Rated R.
The Croods. (No Roeper rating; in standard format and digital 3-D with surcharge.) An animated thing in which a family of prehistoric people go on an adventure. Fortunately for us, they were among the few English-speaking Cro-Magnons. Rated PG.
Oz the Great and Powerful. HH½ (In standard format and digital 3-D with surcharge.) In a backstory of the classic tale, the three witches are among the first to suspect that the wizard (James Franco) might not be all he claims to be. Rated PG.
