Tuesdays, 2 p.m.: Baby Story time, a lapsit story time for infants-18 months. Music, stories, fingerplays, counting rhymes and playtime. Babies should bring their parents or caregivers to join in the fun!
Thursdays, 10:30 a.m.: Toddler Story time. Stories, songs, rhymes and other fun activities for children ages 2-3. Story time lasts about 30 minutes with a fun craft afterward.

Oct. 17, 6 p.m.: The Story Never Told: A Holocaust Presentation. Historian Frank Fristensky tells a two-part story: How an 18th century garrison town built to protect Prague became a major 20th century prison camp organized by the Nazis; and the story of his mother’s internment.

Tuesdays, 4 p.m.: Inklings Book Club. Join Inklings for snacks and a reading adventure every Tuesday from 4-5 p.m. for any third- through fifth-graders!
Wednesdays, 10 a.m.: Under The Sea Storytime. Stories, songs, puppets and more that encourage development of early literacy skills.
Wednesdays, 2 p.m.: Teen Café. Open to teens in grades six-12. It is a place to play games, do homework, make crafts, relax with friends and have fun!
Wednesdays, 3 pm.: ICL MakerSpace. Come play with legos, learn about robotics and discover other unique skills.
Thursdays, 5:30 p.m.: Family Reading Circles. This program uses quality children’s literature to help parents read effectively with their children, initiating discussions of the books and using other activities to reinforce the themes found in children’s books. Come to the library for a family dinner, story time for kids and literacy classes for adults. Signup is required. Call or stop by the library service desk for more information.

Oct. 7, 10 a.m.: Bread Baking for Beginners. Who doesn’t love home-baked bread? Learn to create yummy treats for your family and friends. We’ll be learning about the basics as well as how to make English muffins and bagels. Find out the secrets of creating beautiful loaves to give as gifts, too. Space is limited, sign up is required.
Oct. 9, 11 a.m.: Mystery Book Club. Mystery lovers gather at ICL to discuss the book Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins and watch the recent film release by the same title. This is sure to be a lively conversation and a great movie to watch with friends. New members are always welcome. Members will bring their own lunch this month. The library will provide drinks and dessert.
Oct. 9, 4 p.m.: ICL Anime Club. Join us for an anime showing and a cultural activity! Because of the content of the shows, all participants must be in middle school or older.
Oct. 11, 10 a.m.: Special StoryTime. Los Pinos Fire District is joining StoryTime for a special reading in honor of Fire Prevention Week.
Oct. 12, 10 a.m.: The Basics of Computers. Learn the basics of using a computer and practice using a mouse. No computer experience required.
Oct. 13, 3:30 p.m.: Virtual Legal Clinic. A free legal clinic for parties who have no attorney, via computer link. Volunteer attorneys will answer questions, help fill out forms and explain the process and procedure for the legal issues in the areas of family law, civil litigation, property law, probate law, collections, appeals, landlord-tenant law, veteran’s benefits and civil protection orders. Oct. 20, 6 p.m.: Pirate Movie Party. Ahoy, matey! Wear your pirate costumes and join us for the last installment of the Pirates of Caribbean movies, “Dead Men Tell No Tales.” Snacks and pirate treasure included. All ages welcome.
Oct. 23, 4 p.m.: ICL Anime Club. Join us for an anime showing and a cultural activity! Because of the content of the shows, all participants must be in middle school or older.
Oct. 29, 2 p.m.: Murder Mystery Dinner. Participants will gather clues provided and use them to deduce the identity and motive of the murderer. Guests will be on teams working together to solve the crime. Light meal will be provided. This event will last two-three hours.
Nov. 2, 6 p.m.: Poetry Reading by Esther Belin. ICL is hosting an evening with Esther Belin. Esther is a local poet and multimedia artist; she will read from her long awaited second poetry collection, Of Cartography.
