Odds of disease almost like ‘flipping coin’

According to the American Cancer Society, the risk of developing cancer at some point is about 40% for men and women. In addition, the National Institutes of Health says “approximately 45% suffer from at least one chronic disease and the number is growing.” That means your odds of developing a life-changing disease is nearly equivalent to flipping a coin.

Can these diseases be cured with modern medicine without a lifetime of side effects? Probably not. Why wait to develop diseases to treat it when they could be prevented in the first place. Now, that doesn’t apply to everyone because some people inherit certain genetics that make them susceptible to disease. For others, however, certain factors are responsible for causing cancer and disease.

These include environmental factors such as pollution, which comes in many forms. An unhealthy diet also contributes. That includes pesticide-ridden processed foods, alcohol and tobacco. Physical inactivity and obesity, caused by poor diet and nutrition, also increase your odds of developing diseases. The side effects from modern medicines also contribute to this health crisis.

The solution is to identify that there is a problem in the first place. Too many people are complacent with our heavily polluted world that anyone who speaks out is looked at as being crazy. Our air, water, food, medicine and lives have been polluted and contaminated to the point where we may not be able to repair them.

Wake up before it is too late!
