Old Fort Country Store opened for the season Wednesday with a renovated interior and new display cases. The store is located at 18683 Highway 140, Hesperus.
The store operates on the honor system. It is open from dawn to dusk every day of the week. A variety of vegetables and local foods are available, including arugula, spinach, baby kale, dill, chives, ground beef and pork sausage, local honey, Chevre and feta cheese, eggs, tempeh and seeds.
At this time of year, quantities of veggies may be limited.
