On to state!

The Bayfield 9-10 Little League All Stars won the district tournament last week, defeating teams from Ignacio, Cortez and Durango. They move on to the Little League state tournament next week in Grand Junction. Team members are Gabe Tucson, Caleb Lake, Michael Everett, Deegan Barnes, Teagan Roukema, Andrew Peacock, Devin Avery, Austin Twedt, Cael Schaefer, Caden Wood, Lance Mazur, Andy Monger, Isaac Ross and Mitchell Story. They are coached by Coach Mike Wood and Assistant Coaches Tom Au and Adam Tucson. This is the first team from Pine River Youth Baseball to make the state tournament since the group joined Little League two years ago. The team is hosting a variety of events to raise funds to stay for several days at the tournament.
