The Fort Lewis Mesa Planning District Open House will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Breen Community Building, 15300 Colorado Highway 140.

A presentation about the work that has been done to update the district plan will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. The Fort Lewis Mesa Planning Committee and the county planning staff will be available to answer questions from 2 to 4 p.m.

The open house marks the beginning of a four-month review by the La Plata County Planning Commission. Everyone is encouraged to attend to discuss the future of the Fort Lewis Mesa District.
